Mais qu&rsquo;est-ce que le Job to be Done et comment est-il utilis\u00e9 en pratique ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les trois consid\u00e9rations d&rsquo;un produit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Comprendre le concept du job to be done n\u00e9cessite de prendre un peu de recul sur la perception qu&rsquo;a le client du produit. Quand on nous vend un produit, on y voit l&rsquo;effort li\u00e9 \u00e0 son acquisition ou \u00e0 son adoption, ce qu&rsquo;il va directement produire lors de son utilisation, et l&rsquo;impact que va avoir sa production pour nous. Ces trois consid\u00e9rations sont respectivement l&rsquo;input (l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e), l&rsquo;output (la production) et l&rsquo;outcome (l&rsquo;impact).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par exemple, si vous vous rendez chez le coiffeur, vous devez vous rendre chez le coiffeur et le payer. C&rsquo;est un input. De temps en temps, ce coiffeur vous offrira sa carte de visite, c&rsquo;est un input.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le coiffeur vous demande de vous installer, vous coupe les cheveux et vous coiffe. Autrement dit, chaque client a un \u00ab\u00a0travail \u00e0 faire\u00a0\u00bb qu&rsquo;il veut accomplir avec ce produit ou service. En comprenant pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment quel est ce \u00ab\u00a0travail\u00a0\u00bb, les managers de produits peuvent mieux d\u00e9finir, d\u00e9velopper et commercialiser leurs produits pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;histoire du milkshake est probablement l&rsquo;exemple le plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre de la th\u00e9orie du \u00ab\u00a0Job to be Done\u00a0\u00bb (JTBD) mise en pratique, racont\u00e9e par Clayton Christensen, professeur \u00e0 la Harvard Business School et l&rsquo;un des principaux th\u00e9oriciens de JTBD. Une grande cha\u00eene de restauration rapide cherchait \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer ses ventes de milkshakes. Ils avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 essay\u00e9 les approches traditionnelles : des groupes de discussion avec des clients pour voir comment ils pourraient am\u00e9liorer le produit. Les clients ont sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 des modifications : plus de vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de saveurs, un milkshake moins sucr\u00e9, un milkshake moins cher. L&rsquo;entreprise a mis en \u0153uvre ces suggestions, mais les ventes de milkshakes n&rsquo;ont pas augment\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors, ils ont engag\u00e9 Clayton Christensen et son \u00e9quipe pour r\u00e9soudre le probl\u00e8me. Plut\u00f4t que de demander directement aux clients comment am\u00e9liorer le milkshake, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de Christensen a observ\u00e9 quand et pourquoi les clients achetaient des milkshakes. Ils ont remarqu\u00e9 que beaucoup de milkshakes \u00e9taient vendus t\u00f4t le matin. Il s&rsquo;av\u00e8re que les gens \u00ab\u00a0embauchaient\u00a0\u00bb les milkshakes comme petit-d\u00e9jeuner pendant leur trajet matinal. Le \u00ab\u00a0travail \u00e0 accomplir\u00a0\u00bb pour ces clients n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas simplement de savourer un milkshake. Ils avaient besoin de quelque chose qui les occuperait pendant leur trajet, qui serait assez consistant pour les rassasier jusqu&rsquo;au d\u00e9jeuner, et qui pourrait \u00eatre consomm\u00e9 facilement avec une seule main sans trop de d\u00e9sordre. Le milkshake \u00e9tait parfait pour ce \u00ab\u00a0travail\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur la base de ces informations, l&rsquo;entreprise a pu repenser la fa\u00e7on dont elle commercialisait et am\u00e9liorait ses milkshakes. Le Job to be Done de Netflix peut \u00eatre de se d\u00e9tendre apr\u00e8s une longue journ\u00e9e de travail, de passer un moment convivial en famille ou entre amis, ou d&rsquo;\u00e9chapper \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Le concept de Job to be Done est une puissante perspective pour comprendre les besoins des clients.
